We schedule five to ten day trips from mid July to the end of August for groups of up to eight riders or up to 12 hikers. We prefer to cater to small groups, so that we can share our nomadic mountain lifestyle as a well-organized, and personalized adventure. To help you plan your trip, we have a number of riding or hiking options for you to consider, depending on your interest and time available. We encourage you to contact us with your vacation ideas and schedule, and we will do our best to design the trip of a lifetime for you.

- July 25 – 31 seven days
- August 3 – 9 five or seven days

Five-Day Exploration
A five-day trip takes us to one base camp, from which we explore the surrounding alpine basins and ridges. For those wishing to fish, a day of fishing can be incorporated into the trip from one of our base camps. This trip provides an excellent introduction to mountain travel and gives novices confidence in their horsemanship and camping experience. After a five-day trip you will definitely be ready for more!
COST: Riding or Hiking $1,325 per person
Ten-Day Adventure
Ten days gives us time for an extended exploration of the park and the opportunity to visit some of the more remote peaks, ridges and valleys.
COST: Riding or Hiking $2,500 per person

Rates are in Canadian funds and do not include 5% Goods and Services Tax for Canadian guests or 2.5% for international guests.
RESERVATIONS: We require a 25% deposit, with the balance due on arrival. Deposits are 100% refundable for trips cancelled because of park closure. Deposits can be transferred to another trip or to another year if necessary because of unforeseen circumstances.
Additional Information: Please contact us for a pre-trip planning package that includes detailed information about what to expect and recommendations for personal gear.
Basic Itinerary
We meet you the morning of the first day of your trip at the trailhead of Tweedsmuir Park, or at our base camp at Saddlehorse Meadows, a few kilometres from the main park trailhead. Selecting mounts and packing up this first morning is fairly time-consuming, so our ride to camp the first day is not a long one.
There is a lot to see in the Rainbows and we like to show you as much as possible, so we move camp every couple of days and visit as many of our favourite places as we can during your stay.
During the trip, coffee is on at 6:00 am and breakfast is served at 8:00. Travel between camps is usually five or six hours, with a stop for lunch and photography breaks whenever you wish.
On the days that we do not move camp we have a more leisurely breakfast and pack a lunch for the day of exploration along the ridges and among the peaks.
We arrive back at the trailhead in the afternoon of the final day and you are met by pre-arranged transportation from Eagle's Nest Resort, Dew Duck Inn - or your own vehicle.
